Penia is a hamlet of the municipality of Canazei, in Val di Fassa, on the course of the Avisio stream.

Located at a fairly high altitude (1555 m a.s.l.), the small town of Penia, equipped with a parish church, is directly connected to the village of Alba di Canazei and, consequently, to its ski resorts. This means that the village is a well-known holiday resort both winter and summer, for the presence of numerous trails that start from the center to go to the Marmolada, the Monzoni and the Sella group.

Penia is an official stop along the famous Via Alpina, a path that runs from east to west along the entire mountain range of the Alps. The building is located near the Funivia del Col de Rossi and Ciampac towards Penia. The ice rink of Alba is located about 750 meters with a beautiful playground for children on the banks of the river Avisio. A few minutes walk from the building, a convenient grocery market. Pizzerias and restaurants always within a few meters. The ski bus stop is in front of the entrance of the ski lift. The condominium and the Belvedere cable car to Canazei is about 6 minutes by bus/car.
